Mum was a very lively lady who kept herself busy rather than letting herself wollow in her own sadness and isolation. Mum never suffered fools and would stand her ground. She used to tell me that was the only way she could cope. When she was in her care home she came through covid herself. We used to communicate with her by us passing letters and cards etc, out of her window in a bag on a piece of wool. She always finished off our conversations by saying "look after them kiddies, don't worry about me you just be happy. So mum, we will be happy and never forget you. Thank you for all of your love, laughs and care. God bless

Mum was a factory girl and proud of it. She had a very cheeky personality but was not without her quiet times. Mum always kept herself busy painting and sewing. Mum loved her grand children and great grandchildren and was thrilled when she saw them. In later life mum endured many problems which made her more and more vulnerable. Although frightened at times she always faced her problems with great courage. During covid we would exchange cards and letters by her dropping a bag down from her bedroom window. Every time we went to leave she would say "you look after those kiddies and don't worry about me I'm fine", which wasn't always the case. During her final weeks we were allowed to go into her care home which helped her through her final chapter. She was much loved by all the staff at the home. We will miss her terribly and promised her we would love each other and be happy. We are on this land for a split second but Gods time is endless and we will meet Mum and Dad again when God calls us. Love you Mum
